Age Groups Served: At Steps to The Future, we welcome children from 12 months to 12 years, creating a nurturing environment tailored to each stage of development. Our youngest learners benefit from a close-knit 4:1 teacher-to-child ratio, ensuring personalized attention and care. As children grow, our school-age program maintains a balanced 12:1 ratio, fostering independence while still providing the guidance they need to thrive.
Educational Programs: We believe every child is a natural learner, and our programs are designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Our toddler programs introduce foundational skills through play and exploration, while our Creative Curriculum blends structure with imagination, helping children build confidence, social skills, and a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
Care Options: Whether you need full-day care, support before and after school, or extended hours into the evening, we’re here to meet your family’s needs. Our flexible schedule includes care until midnight, making us a reliable partner for parents with non-traditional work hours. We also offer a vibrant summer program filled with fun, learning, and adventure to keep kids engaged year-round.
Additional Services: We go beyond the classroom to enrich your child’s experience. Our transportation service—available even to families in Indiana—makes drop-offs and pick-ups easy and stress-free. Field trips are a regular part of our calendar, giving children the chance to explore new places, connect with their community, and learn through hands-on experiences.

What is your teacher-to-child ratio?

Our daycare maintains optimal teacher-to-child ratios to ensure quality care and attention for every child. For toddlers aged 1 and 2, we maintain a 4:1 ratio, ensuring each child receives personalized attention. In our preschool classes for ages 3 to 5, the ratio is 10:1, allowing for a nurturing and engaging learning environment. For school-age children, aged 6 to 12, our after-school program follows a 15:1 ratio, balancing supervision with independence. This structure supports safety and growth at every stage of development.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

We are pleased to offer three state-funded meals daily to ensure your child is well-nourished and energized throughout the day. Breakfast is served at 9 am, followed by lunch at 12 noon, and a nutritious snack at 3:30 pm. Our meal program is designed to cater to the dietary needs of growing children, providing them with the essential nutrients to thrive.
